Feed Manufacturing Plant Equipment Recommendation
Large-Scale Commercial Feed Plant
A 10–20 tons per hour feed manufacturing plant represents the industrial standard of modern feed manufacturing technology. It combines large-scale investment capability, high automation level, and continuous production performance to meet the feed demands of various animals—including poultry, pigs, cattle, sheep, ducks, and fish. The complete feed manufacturing process typically includes raw material pre-cleaning, crushing, automatic batching, high-speed mixing, conditioning, pelleting, counterflow cooling, vibrating screening, automatic packaging, and warehousing.
This feed manufacturing line adopts a fully automatic control system and supports 24-hour continuouas operation, ensuring high output, consistent pellet quality, and excellent operational efficiency.
| Technical Parameters | |
|---|---|
| Production capacity | 10–20 tons/hour (TPH) |
| Applicable animals | Poultry, livestock, aquaculture and ruminants (compound feed) |
| Pellet diameter | Adjustable, 2–12 mm |
| Layout features | Multi-story steel structure layout; gravity-fed material transfer; high space utilization |
| Operation characteristics | Full automatic PLC/HMI control; batch management; remote monitoring and fault alarms |
During the feed pellet manufacturing process, raw materials are pre-cleaned to remove impurities, then sent to a high-efficiency feed crusher to achieve the desired particle size. The crushed materials are precisely measured and evenly mixed through an automatic batching system. The mixed feed is conditioned using a steam conditioner, which optimizes protein denaturation and starch gelatinization—improving pellet formation and strength. After conditioning, the material is evenly fed by a frequency-controlled feeder into a ring die feed pellet machine, where it is compressed into high-density pellets.
The finished pellets are cooled in a counterflow cooler to stabilize moisture, screened through a vibrating sieve, and then packed automatically. Unqualified pellets and fines are recycled back to the crushing or mixing system, forming a closed-loop production cycle that maximizes material utilization and ensures stable, continuous operation.
